This IS EXACT Procedure Bu The BOOK
REMOVAL

  1. Drain cooling system.
  2. Loosen fan clutch attaching bolts.
  3. Remove fan shroud attaching bolts and remove shroud and fan.
  4. Remove drive belt.
  5. Disconnect lower radiator hose, heater hose and bypass hose from water pump.
  6. Remove fan, spacer, water pump pulley and fan shroud.
  7. Remove A/C compressor/power steering pump bracket and accessories to clear water pump stud bolt.
  8. Remove water pump attaching bolts and the water pump.
INSTALLATION
  1. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten water pump retaining bolts to 12-18 ft. lbs.
NOTE: All water pumps have a sealed bearing integral with the water pump shaft. The bearing requires no lubrication. A bleed hole in the pump housing allows water that may leak past the seal to be thrown out by the slinger. This is not a lubrication hole. If the pump is damaged and requires repair, replace it with a new pump or a rebuilt one.

My 1995 F250 is leaking radiator fluid under the engine behind the fan

Is antifreeze coming from "weep" hole in bottom of case under shaft nose?
is it coming from the heater hose (small hose coming of side and going into firewall to heater core inside engine compartment?
is it coming from bad gasket between pump and front case?

get a paper towel and dry these areas then start engine. when it starts leaking that will tell you if you need to change the water pump (gasket leak or weep hole shaftseal leak) or if you just need to replace/repair heater hose.

Hi:) Sounds like the water pump needs to be replaced. you need to remove the coolant, belt, fan, water pump bolts and you need a new gasket and water pump and replace in opposite order.

in all honesty i have never seen one of these cars in my life here in spain but i would hazard a guess and say it fits to teh front of the engine around the water pump area ,or the heater has been by passed as the core was leaking ,fill engine with plain water and see where it leaks is a good guide as to find if and where its fitted

My 1996 Ford F250 3/4 Ton pickup overheats. I've replaced the thermostat, and the radiator fan is working.

I would look at the water pump. Check for leaks at the pump. The water pump may have a "weep hole" and if there is any coolant leaking out of the hole the pump is bad. Hope this helped.

My 1995 F250 gas truck. overheats going up long hills. Also overheats when pulling a trailer or if I got a load in back.

switch to low gear when going up hills or carrying big loads, if you cant switch to 4 wheel. If none are the solution antifreeze, water in radiator, new radiator, etc. BUT try the low ranged gears first.
