Did you check to see if you have water or anti freeze in the oil? You could have a blown head gasket. This would be why you are adding fluid so quickly. let me know.

Turn your ignition key on and off three times then on the fourth time just leave it on and watch where the millage numbers are it will show you the error codes.

2.5 is the V-6 and are SOHC
2.4 are 4-cyl and DOHC

The thermostat is located at the upper radiator hose end of the engine. The hose will connect to a housing that will have to be removed in order to change the thermostat.
While you have the thermostat housing removed, make sure you flush the old coolant out and replace with new.
