Sounds like your battery has a low cca (cold cranking amps). Try to buy one that has at least a rating of 550 cca

It's cold outside and my 2013 Hyundai sonata won't start

Its most likely a worn down battery. They get even weaker when its very cold outside. I'd get a jump or connect a charger to it.

Car won't crank or start in cold weather 2007 Pacifica

Clean your battery post use a battery maintenance kit has a green
and red filter ring also have your battery tested in cold conditions if a battery is weak that's when it's more noticeable.thats why you see CCA on battery's they are tested cold to determine cold cranking amps.

Ford taurus limited 2012 difficult to start in cold weather.this car have lot of electric equipement.do you think the battery is not strong enough

If the car starts normally in warm weather then the battery capacity will be sufficient. Cold weather decreases a battery efficiency so if the battery is just making the grade in warm weather then it will fail in cold weather. have a load test done on the battery by an accredited battery supplier. If the power requirements have been increased beyond manufacturers fitted equipment then it may be necessary to consider a larger capacity alternator. have the battery checked first as I think that is where your problem will be.

My 2007 Milan won't start in cold weather.

Sounds like nonsense to me

Everyone drives a vehicle a couple days a week

If the battery is over 5 years old it may be bad

When you say you had it checked- we need technical
details of how it was tested & it's age

Was the alternator tested & again how?

If you haven't had anything tested in over a year,
you can expect things to not work as they should

Obviously your issues are somewhat weather or temp
related,so a fresh start & a different shop that knows why
your there & what you expect resolved is what is needed

98 astro awd doesnt like to start in real cold weather (-18C) otherwise runs fine

I have a 98 and we just had a cold snap where it was super cold and I didn't start it for about a week. I had just got a new battery because mine tested out bad. Everything was good but now it doesn't want to get fuel. Cleaned all battery and relay connections and it's turning over great and fires with starting fluid but won't start. Guy at Napa said the fuel pump on these are known to not work well in the cold and suggested to warm the tank. I'm parked outside and can't move it to get it inside somewhere. Anyone know of good solution to this fuel pump not working in cold temps issue?

Your battery may be bad. I would take it in and have it tested. You can also try cleaning the battery connections. Cold weather is terrible on batteries

Car wont start in cold weather...think it may be

Will it start with a boost? Have you had battery fully charged and load tested? Battery tested at a garage, or autoparts stores, are usually free.

If your gas lines were froze then there is obviously water in your fuel system which even once thawed could prevent your car from starting and may not run good if it does. With that being said it obviously has to be cold for your gas lines to freeze and cold weather is ******* your battery especially if it sits for a while. Turn on your headlights and see if they are working good as well as your dome light and radio. If they are not working good or at all charge the battery with a battery charger, even though you have tried to jump it. Your car will have a fairly small battery and the smaller the cold cranking amps your battery is rated for the worse it will be in cold weather, possibly even not turning your engine over. If you do all this and it does not work it may be your starter but my money is on the battery.
