Question about 2006 Dodge Charger

2 Answers

Handling problems I have a 2006 Dodge Charger, it has had handling issues since new, when driving in perfect conditions it steers and handles fine. As soon as there is any wind, or turbulance from other vehicals it is all over the road. There never seems to be a neutral position in the steering, you are always correcting one way or the other. It has been to the shop about six or more times for this, but never corrected. It has had new tie rod ends and rack replaced. It has been sent to a computerised alignment shop, same thing. This is a very dangerous car to drive when roads are slippery or snow covered. If anyone can suggest anything to be checked I will appreciate it.It would be nice to drive this car not herd it down the road. Thank you

The Tires make a Big Difference in the Handling. Run a Set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A 60 Series on it and it will Straighten out Considerably. I run them on My 87' Grand National and My Chevelle + My 95' Silverado and have had no Problems what so Ever. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!

Pull handle under the dash on the left of the steering column. It is pretty well hidden. You will have to bend over and look for the lever. Then lift the lever under the hood... in the center.

I added led tail lights to my charger, now the turn signal blink faster than normal, do I need a new flasher?

Yes, get a heavy duty flasher to replace the original. The same thing happens if you hook up a trailer w/ lights to a car, the original flasher can't handle the extra load.
