You have a temperature problem. The circuit heats up and shuts down due to high resistance. After it cools down it works fine.
Would like to know the answer to the above questions. Carb is not a problem (I don't think so).

As asked before, what lights come on on the IP?

When you turn the key on, do the warning lights come on the dash ?
Can you turn the headlights on ?
These answers will help narrow down the problem to the main circuits or just the key switch.

SOURCE: Lost electrical while driving. Nothing works.

OK this is the part where You take out your test light or multimeter (best) and start chasing down the disconnect. begin at the battery and then go right to the starter to begin with, then the accessory side of the ignition switch. Once you covered these items continue from battery again and go item by item till you find the problem. Don't forget you need a good ground, regardless so make sure that is good as well. Only do testing after verifying that your battery is fully charged and can withstand a load test, otherwise all testing is invalid. After finding the problem, check the charging system to make sure it's working.

SOURCE: starts up in am after drivimg an hour shut off

It sounds like the carburator needs to be rebuilt. If you have to hold it to the floor to get it to start that means it's flooded. So, the carburator is leaking gas into the engine when it's not running. Are getting poor gas mileage too?

intermittents are sometimes hard to diagnose out !! and this seems as one , im curious though what made them wiggle the relays and fuses ?? was there a previous problem there ?? depending on year of manufacture of car , is weather or not the cars own pcu can help diagnose what made car stop , as later models "remember " what there last condition was that shut off engine , of course this requires diagnostic equipment to see this info that typically car owners don't own , but a qualified service tech does and knows how to use it to find your problem

Motor shuts down when reaching normal operation temp

Sounds like the mass air flow sensor or the air intake temperature sensor. Sometimes just wiping out the throttle body/air intake can make all the difference

Can't get car out of park!!

This may seem like a silly solution but it's worth a try if it gets you out of this jam. I believe the Kia has a safety feature where it won't let you shift the car out of park unless the break peddle is fully depressed. Try stomping on the break peddle while you start the car. Then see if it will let you shift out of park. If this doesn't work try pumping the break peddle a few times and try it again. If this doesn't work check the fuse box. Maybe the fuse for the actuator in the gear shift lever that lets you take it out of park is burnt out. I hope this helps you out.

Sporatic problem with Stereo and Stereo Display

I have had this problem intermittently since I purchased the vehicle in 2004... the dealer could not fix but showed me that there is a relay that you can pull and re-install. It's under the hood and must be done with the ignition and lights off. Pull the relay, wait 10 secs and re-install and pblm goes away. If you are standing in front of the vehicle there is a relay box on your right/vehicle left. The relay is located in the lower left-had corner of this box. Not a permanent fix, and in my experience the problem goes away when the vehicle is parked for an hour or so but if you have a long drive and want to use the radio, this 60-second fix is worth knowing...
