Repairing front drivers side door on a 1995 suzuki sidekick

The top hinge is rusted through the door post & now the clip on the botttom of the door has rusted through. I am looking for a schematic drawing to see what I am getting into if I try to fix the clip on the bottom and/or repalce the door post

Haynes and Chilton repair manuals are very good for body repair ie: taking apart doors and the electrical and physical challenges you can expect to encounter.

How do i remove the driver side door on an 02 cavalier, 2 door? what tools do i need?

Hi Sarah:
When you open and close the door you will see that it swings on hinges.
If you look at the hinges you will see that they are attached to the car and the door with bolts.
Swing the door open and place blocks under it (or floor jacks) to support it, then undo the hinge bolts. Do the botttom hinge first.
You'll also probably have to disconnect some wires if there are any electricals.
Doors can be heavy so don't drop it.
Also, don't drive the vehicle without having a drivers door installed.
Cheers.

Where can i find a wiring diagram. For a horn on a 1995 Suzuki sidekick 2dr convertable

easy
if the relay output hits 12vcd to horn (green-blk)
then the horn is bad, a $10 walfart meter solves that riddle.
if 12vdc gets there and the ground at the horn is bad, it fails.
as all do on all suzuki's (using body grounds ,sux)
caused by rust there.a G101 point.
clean off rust under horn mount yet

this is it !

it has hinges.
the hinges have large screws.
they take and impact gun to remove (very tight)
its in the book and costs $4 per day to read.

Exposed inner wheel well

old post but here goes....
the suzuki dealer (shut down here ,usa) theirparts counter is open.
and you can look at what is missing.
or buy an EPC and look yourself or the shop manual.
or mitchels or alldata dot com
but you never said the year? or car make? suz, what?
what year.?
older years they dont even sell parts like this.. so......
and if true that, only off wrecked cars can you get older parts.

no photos , no guessing. sorry. this is a hands on eyes on fix.
either ask a live person or post photos.

89 and up mostly ( i have a 96 that some body parts are not sold new by anyone on earth)
parts and photos. too.

Rust behind both front door (top only) hinges

If there is rust, the bolts are loose and the hinge is working (moving) causing bare metal exposure to rusting. Tighten the bolts, iit will be ok.
