Well code 336 means the computer is not getting a crank signal at startup.
If you have replaced the sensor the problem could be the wiring harness or the object the sensor uses to find cylinder one.

SOURCE: radio error on Acura

We had the same problem. As advised from another website, we unhooked the battery and hooked the cables together for about 10 minutes. This reset the radio and allowed us to put in the 5-digit code. Now we're jammin'!

2001 Acura CL 3.2. Hesitation on acceleration.?just tuned up with new plug wires. any suggestions? Only code or 40 2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1.

You said you changed the plug wires did you change the plugs too? My daughter has a 97 CL and when her plugs get fouled it causes hesitation as well as problems starting up. If you haven't changed those do that first. Is that code correct at 40 or is it 401 ? You can take it to autozone and they can tell you what it means or the correct codes.

Changed 02 sensor and all codes are clear but check engine light is still on in my 99 acura cl

press the clear DTC button on the scan tool.
bam, gone.
or you are using a cheap scan tools that does not
all factory codes, and one is set.!
keep in mind, the CEL dont glow for all DTCs
and many scan tools are blind to some or all factory codes
P1xxx and P2xxx are both factory only codes, only
Acura codes,
rule 3> if the scan tool does show say P1xxx code
do not use non Acura data on that code, as its a Acura only code
only P0xxx codes are a standard here, in USA>

in some countries, even P0300 code (gross misfire) in Canada
do NOt glow the CEL, but does store the code
amazing huh?

1997 Acura CL 2.2, car cranks but will not start, does not have spark. When trying to start the D4 light will blink. Have changed fuel pump, distribitor, injector relay, computer, ignition relay under dash...

have u checked ur timing chain/belt? or even the crankshaft sensor? The crank sensor (if bad or broke) will cut out the spark to ur plugs. hope this helps

I have a problem with the oxygen sensor the check engine light goes on but i changed both oxygen sensors and the check engine light still appears PO135 in 98 acura cl

Check the fuses and replace any blown fuses. This code is for the heater circuit of the O2 sensor. The heater is powered by a fuse which may have blown if the heater or the sensor wiring was somehow grounded.

97 Honda multiple misfire at operating temperature

Yes fix the leak but a faulty Knock sensor will trip a miss fire code. Yes get rid of those iridium plugs and see if that works first because iridium is a higher burn temp. and more temp doesn't mean more power! There is a specific code for a knock sensor but many things can cause the same result. After my friend replaced his motor in his prelude he had the same problem with multiple miss fires and other codes but he changed his knock sensor and cleared it right up!
