My vw 2002 beetle headlight bulb has been replaced and still wont work?

I believe vw uses 4 fuses 2 high beam, 2 low beam, see if high beams work, check for a blown fuse. Another possibility is a corroded wiring harness that plugs in behind the headlight. Unplug and replug the headlight socket a couple times to clean corrosion.

Need to replace driver's side headlight on a 2008 vw beetle

This is not a fun job. The headlight retention system sometimes becomes locked up due to dust and grime on the mechanism. Even if things are clean, it is VERY difficult. Take my word for it, a VW dealer is the best bet for you. The headlamp mounting system on the Beetle is one of the stupidest setups I've came across in 45 years of fixing VW's. And you can bet VW designed it to force you to go to the dealer.

How do I change the headlight on a 1998 vw Beetle?

Lift the hood and if equipped remove plastic engine cover. On each headlight you will see plastic retaining latches. releasing these latches will allow the whole headlight assembly to slide out. Its a canister type assembly. You can then access teh bulbs to replace the lights. it reassembles teh same way

I need to change the headlight on a 1999 VW beetle, have no idea how, is my daughter's car and I am the Mom, so keep that in mind, not a mechanic here. Help me!

beetle's have very difficult headlamps to replace ..from inside engine compartment there is a "band" that goes around the headlight assembly that has to be released and they commonly break ..i would recomend not trying it yourself and taking it to a dealership so when and if it breaks a new band will be available or the car will not be able to remount the headlight assembly sorry

Setting idle speed on a 2001 vw beetle 2.0-

The engine doesn't have a mechanical idle speed adjustment - VW/Audi have a software called VagCom (the diagnostic software they use) that is used to adjust the idle - it's completely computer-controlled. You have to change the idle speed using the software.
