Question about 2000 Isuzu Amigo

Horn starts blaring when car is off and the temperature is 0F

When the temperature nears 0F (we live in Minnesota) the horn begins to sound. This is usually when it is parked in the driveway in the middle of the night. I am stumped. Thanks for your suggestions?

I have a 2012 SYM Fiddle II and when I turn the key on to start the scooter, the horn starts blaring. It will continue blaring when you are riding it too. How can I fix this?

Your horn button is defective. It is touching ground all the time completing the circuit and blowing the horn. If the wire going to the horn is frayed and tiucjing metal anywhere that is the same as the button which connects the wire going to the button to metal on the bike also known as ground. Find what color the wire is by looking at the horn itself. One side of the horn is battery plus voltage. The other side when grounded makes the horn blow. Unplug it if you can't solve it.

After replacing my battery in my 1998 ford taurus the horn continually blares. I have tried putting the key in the ignition and turning it to on, horn keeps blaring and car won't stop. Also

Your horn relay may be shorting out, making your horn operate all the time. Have a look at your relays. You might find the horn relay is the same as another relay, If it is, try swapping relays with a known good one, and see if the horn operates normally. If so, get a new relay. Good-Day!

Car horn begins blaring when the car is not on and

In my case it turned out to be a bad horn pad on the steering wheel. It was especially bad when the weather was very cold. The horn would begin beeping in the middle of the night and wake me up, or begin beeping while I was driving. The dealership replaced it at no charge, so there must have been a recall for this problem. Good luck!

My jeep just started blaring its horn in my driveway. No one was near it and the horn is not beep-beep-beep like the panic indicator--it is full out psycho blaring. I unhooked the battery however that is...

It is likely the button in the steering wheel has shorted out. Unless you can get it to stop by pulling up the button, the steering wheel will have to come off for repair; and this requires special tools. In the meantime, you can pull the horn relay out of the fuse box and reconnect the battery.

My 1999 sonnata has an electrical short casuing to horn to keep blaring unless the battery is disconnected. how can i disable the horn, and where is it located under the hood?????

Please open the hood and connect the battery momentarily and the horn will tell you its approximate loca tion with its sound. Just remove one of the wire from the horn and insulate it properly to avoid any short circuiting.

I wonder,, with colder tempratures this time of year, If somehow a connection in the horn pad was shorting out.due to expansion or contraction of a component inside the steering wheel. Try tapping on the top of the air bag on the steering wheel and horn buttons ..this may work ..note this is a guess and I hope this does it the only reason I mentioned it Is because I have seen this two other times...Good luck.
