Question about BMW X5 Series
Need to know mdel and year. On my 1998 M3, the door switch is actually in the latch. If you look at the latch part on the body (not on the door) you will see a small switch that is engaged when the door closes. Some of the switches are not availible or rediculously expensive. Quick fix is to put a few layers of electrical tape over the switch to allow it to be pushed in further when the door is closed. Hope that helps
