Question about 2007 Toyota Corolla S
I just bought this car yesterday but it's missing a button just above the "P" park on the center console. The button is missing but you can still reach in and press it, but i can't tell what it's doing, if anything... Could anyone answer this for me?
The button ,is not a button it is a cover for shift lock override if you need to to move the shiter without your foot on brake or without the key you push a key or pin in the hole so it can be shifted

Hello. A vibration in the steerign wheel indicates an issue with the front tires. They are either out of balance, and would need to be rebalanced, or it is possible (although remotely) that the tire(s) may be compromised (after hitting a pothole), the belts in the tire may be corrupted. What I would suggest is to take the car to a reputable tire place, and get the balance checked. While the tire is on the balancer, the Tech will be able to see if the tire is out-of-round due to possible road damage. Probably just a tire balance problem. Thanks for choosing FixYA for assistance.

P2716 Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Electrical (Shift Solenoid Valve SLT).
There are 3 things it could be.
It could be your ECM, shift solenoid valve SLT, or open or short in the circuit. I would just recommend saving the hassle and taking it to an ASE qualified mechanic.
Here is what is happening...
The linear solenoid valve (SLT) controls the transmission line pressure for smooth transmission operation based on signals from the throttle position sensor and the vehicle speed sensor.
