How to adjust the acceleration of the car?

When the engine is cold it could be above 1000 RPM. Warmed up it should be around 800 in park or neutral.
The computer controls idle speed with the idle air control valve. Assuming the check engine light is not on, I would look for a vac leak or a dirty throttle body. A vac leak will let air into the intake bypassing the control valve.

Oil pressure gauge goes up and down as I step on gas and brake but opressure is fine - Is there a switch I need to replace and how much does it cost>

Hi Guest,

This is normal. As the engine rev's higher the oil pressure goes up, revs lower, pressure lower.

Brake Light Fuse & Gas Gauge

Start by replacing your brake light bulbs. If it still blows the fuse, them your brake pedal switch. If it still happens then you have a shot circuit in your wiring between your fuse panel and your brake lights.
