SOURCE: My kia puts out blue
Very often, blue/white smoke is caused by a bad fuel/air mix ratio. Two very common causes
1. Faulty ( MAF)," mass air flow ", sensor. This prevents the on board computer system from
determining the proper fuel/air mix ratio. Some of the symptoms are, bad idle, poor acceleration,
Stalling, and eventually the car not starting, especially in cold weather.
( People who are pretty handy get mass air flow cleaner from the parts store, but, you really
need to follow the instructions closely.
2. ( 02 ), sensor, " oxygen sensor ", this too impacts the computer system's fuel/air mix ratio.
I hope this helps you.
