Question about 2001 Kia Sephia

1 Answer

2001 Kia Sephia fuel problem?

Was missing, replaced fuel filter, wouldn't run at all. Then replaced fuel pump. It now runs, with good pressure, but still has the same miss. Does this sound like it's still a fuel problem, or something else?

Is the check engine light on? Any codes? Check plugs & wires. Check for vacuum leaks.

it sounds like a fuel problem. i believe its fuel injected so check the fuel pressure regulator and mainly the pump. the pump tends to go first but if you do change the pump change the filter also. have your local mechanic check the fuel lines.

2001 Kia Sephia, WAS running, but missing when taking off.

I had this problem after the engine was replaced on my 2001 Sephia, it's a sendor on the engine. This sensor is actually turning the engine off and on while driving... my mechanic replaced it with the one from my old engine and it is fine now
