Question about Hyundai Motor 2004 Sonata
For about a year the locks on my 2004 sonota lock by themselves when I close the door or while driving they lock and unlock randomly (it's not a feature). Now the brake lights and headlights seem to get stuck on. They are daytime running lights but sometimes they stay on when I turn the car off or the brake lights stay on even when not on the brakes and even when I turn the car off. This also causes the cruise control not to work.
What could be causing all this? Is it linked?
It sounds like the sonata computer might be corrupted. Do you use mp3, or ipod to play music through your stereo and or do you play burned music? It's my belief that the computer can become corrupted from maleware code. Also do you know if there was any command start installed or removed? Command starters are notorious for causing computer glitches and malfunctions in the locking mechanisms.
