2001 mitsubishi challenger how much engine oil does it take

"It takes about 4.75 litres with new filter, put 4.25 in first let it run for a few minutes then top up this allows for the filter to fill. If you still have your owners manual in glove box the back of it tells you the amount of oil and all other fluid amounts."

Found the above on a forum site but also found this on another as well:

My mitsubishi challenger keeps dying when i go up the hill or downhill. i've changed the fuel pump but the problem is the same. sometimes its difficult to start the engine..

Check the condition and/or operation of the following:

1) Spark plugs, coils and leads.
2) Air filter
3) Fuel filter.

Please report back if no findings.

No coolant is going in to my radaitor, car is over heating 1998 2.4 gs spyder eclipse

There is two things to focus on if no coolant is going to radiator, one would be your water pump, and other is thermostat that is most likely stuck. I believe it is the thermostat . That is what I would focus on, almost any trustworthy shop can test this pretty easily . Please let me know , and I can help you more through process, thanks mike, from fixya

I have a mitsubishi challenger with a 4m40t engine

First check that the temperature gauge sender unit is working correctly it maybe faulty.
Check that the transmission is not causing to much heat going through the cooler from the load which runs through the radiator if it is automatic.
Ensure that the engine has had a proper flush when all the new parts were fitted. The engine block may have blocked galleries.
Hope this helps you out, let me know what you find.
