My pajero v6 3.5 usually when i turn the aircon on then i shift the gear to drive the rpm just drop and turn off the engine, but withou turning on the aircon the engine wont stop what seems to be the...


the engine doesn't like the extra stress of the air con unit being run _ there is no way of fixing this _ unless you get a full engine overhaul or a secondhand engine and installed _ the engine is old and the extra pressure on it with the aircon it just cant handle it

The aircon of my Toyota Fortuner 2006 is not too cold even when the thermostat is at its coldest. The freon content is normal and has no leak. What do you think is the problem and can you recommend a...


Check the aircon filter located at the back of the glove compartment
you will have to remove the glove box by pressing the two ends
left and right and remove it there you will find the ac filter.

Where do I find the air filter on my 1999 Montero Sport?


It's probably not your air filter, but that is located at the end of the big hose on the right side under the hood, it looks like a big box. It sounds like it might be the idling sensor.

Do you mean the pollen/cabin filter that filters the incoming air? look at the plastic panel beneath the wipers and find the removable section held in by 4 screws, remove it, its underneath.

Under the black plastic cover that hides half the engine department.
You need to remove some torx screws in order to get access underneath to the cabine or aircon filter.

Fuel filter 2003 Montero Sport


drivers side, underneath the car. look at the line coming from the gas tank, and where the line gets bigger and has a metal cylinder in it, that is your fuel filter. a couple of clamps and you can change that thing out in a matter of minutes, and depending on your medel you may have to remove a metal plate to get to it.

From what I have been reading online... The upper and middle manifold MUST be removed to get to the spark plugs to change them. 3 hour job minimum. should cost between $300 and $500.
