Question about 2006 Ford Explorer
THE GEAR SHIFT INDICATOR LIGHT ON MY 2006 FORD EXPLORER DOES NOT LIGHT UP WHEN I TURN ON THE LIGHTS AT NIGHT. I TOOK IT TO THE FORD DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT IT IS NOT A SERVICEABLE ITEM AND ARE UNSURE HOW TO FIX IT. ANY IDEAS??
I had the same problem. They need to change the whole shift indicator assembly. Had mine fixed inn 30 minutes

I had the same problem with my '06 XLT and at the same time my fog lights were not working. I checked the fuses and relays(there is a fuse and a relay)for the fog lights and although neither was bad reseating them fixed the fog lights and the shift indicator light
