07 Toyota Tacoma Exclamation Light

I just bought an 07 Toyota Tacoma on Friday and a yellow exclamation light came on the next day. Today, I had Firestone check the tire pressure and was told that the typical metal stem wasn't on these tires so that probably wasn't my problem. He aired my tires up anyway and the light is still on. Please help!

If you get the exclamation point (!) light that's with a U-shape, it's likely that one or more of your TIRES has low pressure. I also had this once, and it, too, was on a cold January day in New Hampshire (-8ºF).
When you have your tire pressures checked, do remember, however, that you actually have FIVE (5) tires, including the SPARE.  My problem turned out to be low pressure in that SPARE!

An ! light means you have a light out some where on the vehicle. and never trust firestone, they are out for commission and not customer satisfaction or have no idea what they are doin.

I have a light on my dash with an exclamation point enclosed in what looks like parenthesis with verticle lines underneath. It's yellow. Do you know what it is?

If it looks like a deflating tire with an exclamation mark inside, its the check your tire pressure light.

If its a triangle with exclamation mark inside its the check engine light.

Tire pressure guage indicator in 2006 Toyota Tacoma

Yes, this is indictating at least 1 low tire of the 5, maybe more...Check ALL 5 tire pressures and set them to 29lbs, as per the specs and then turn your key to"ON"...then push and hold the button under the steering collumn until the light on the dash flashes 3 times, indicating that you have re-set the computer to recognize the pressure that you now have set....

Good luck.

Yellow light on dash with flashing exclamation point inside it, what does this mean?

Hi !
The Yellow Exclamation Point is the indicator of malfunction in the Power Steering system.
1. Check the Tension of the Power steering Belt.
2. Check Oil level of Power steering , this must be below MIN level.
This is in a white bottle next to Break fluid.

Do you have the owners manual? It should tell you in there what all those indicator lights mean.

Yellow warning light on dashboard looks like exclamation point- what does it mean car just bought no manual yet it is to the left

You have a low tire. Toyota Solaras and other Toyotas have tire sensor monitors. Go to a gas station and check the air on all of your tires including the spare. Once you get to the recommended pressure, you should be fine.

O2 Sensors

Autozone oxygen sensors do not function properly in Toyota vehicles. Just had a Tacoma yesterday with the same issue. New sensors, runs poor, check engine light on. Toyota sensors fixed it right now.
