Question about 1999 Saab 9-5
Saab 9-5 1999 has problem of not going into reverse - first it was just pausing or delaying for a second or two before getting into gear now it wont go into reverse at all- when i hit the gas it just revs in place, or goes slightly forward - also having a hard time getting into 1st gear - what is most economical solution if this is transmission
Try to bleed the clutch.

Try checking the fluid level first, and then look for any leaks. if corrected right away you might not have to rebuild the trans. but other wise look into the cost of a rebuilt transmission.
