Tire size

Yes as long as u change the rims also not just the tires these numbers 195/60/15 195 is tire width 60 is tire height and 15 is rim size, most all Hondas will fit up to 215/35/18 with no rubbing issues on factory suspension ..... Every time the rim size changes u have change the height of the tire so it will fit some go as far as " stretching " the tire to allow larger rims or extreme offsets

What kind of tires do I use for a 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 2.0 doc motor

Kathy

You can find a list of the recommended tires and pressures on a placard affixed to the driver door / jamb. This placard will also list the weight of the vehicle, and other information too. You should be able to look at the sidewall of the existing tires to determine the size. They will likely be either 185/65-14 or 185/60-15.

I looked at Tirerack.com and input your 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 and got these results. Apparently, two different sizes were standard for this car. They are: 185/65-14 and 185/60-15. The main difference is that one is mounted on a 14 inch rim and the other is mounted on a 15 inch rim (as indicated by the bold number in the size). Determine which size rim (by looking at the tire size you currently have) and replace with one of those listed above. This ONLY applies to factory rims. if they have been changed, all bets are off.

Any reputable tire shop or Automotive tire department (at Sears, etc.) should be able to get this info for you free of charge.

Good luck!

Factoy tire size

The factory size is P185/65R14.
I have a Honda Civic and i cold Wisconsin winter use a set of Blizzak winter tires P185/65R14 on steel rims.
If ambient temperature warms up above 45F degree, I use a set of tires P205/45R16 Falken Ziex Ze-912, mounted on 16 inches aluminum rims.
Using all season tires is a good compromise too.

Wat size tires are on the bravada

That depends on the type of rims that you have on the vehicle.

If the rims are stock from the factory, then open your driver door and on the inside edge there should be a sticker. It should have the size tires you need,a s well as the air pressure, listed. You should also be able to find that information located on the inside of your glove compartment. There is a label on the backside of the glove compartment door and it will also list the type of tires that came with the vehicle.

If the rims have been changed out, then look on the tires them selves. You should see a series of numbers, like 235/70R15. That would be the size of tire that is on that rim.

If this is a 4WD, or AWD, all the tires must be the same size. Don't have different sizes on different rims.

If you are still not sure, just take your vehicle to a tire store and have them take a look.

Hope this helps.

My 2001 grand cherokee rims are 17" what is the exact size, and what other rim would fit.

Hello, Thank you for trusting FixYa.com to help get you going! The rims on your Cherokee, (and any other vehicle) are measured based on the tire that is designed to fit it. Technically the rims is just shy of 17". They measurement is taken at the base of the lip at the tire seat, ( the place on the rim that the tire seals against.) There are many outlets with rims for sale from custom to OEM, available in almost every city in America. Depending on the look or function that you are seeking, prices range greatly. Good luck, and if you have additional information, questions, or comments please return, and I will respond quickly to your concerns. Thanks again for trusting FixYa.com, have a great day!.

What is the original size tire and rim for a 1997 expedition

The best way to find out is the door sticker on the driver side door.

There are two possibles sizes for that truck. The 16" rim or 17" rim.
The tire size is P255/70R16 or P265/70R17.

The factory sticker on the door jam on the driver side will tell you what it came out of the factory with.

The rims of the tires continue to bend and slash the tires. All four. This car has been a death trap. Any ideas of what the problem is. Has there been a recall?

Wow, this is an unusual problem. What year? Factory wheels or aftermarket? Tire size? Are the tires losing air pressure so that the rims are 'slashing the tires?' Are the rims cutting through the side walls of the tires? How many or the tires did this happen to and how many times??
