Question about 2003 Land Rover Freelander
O/s and n/s brake lights not works centre light working ok, all new bulbs.thanks.
Have you fitted the right bulbs ???check contacts on bottom of bulbs one or two pins.if appear ok then a wire has come out of a connector where loom separates to go to back lights,now where this is in the car?? just follow the two looms back from back lights,sorry i do beleave you call them pigs tails

I would say it is your break switch. It is located under the dash and the break pedal actually hits it. It look chrome and it is a round cylinder. It has a button on it. When you press the pedal down, the button releases, therfore, it turns on your break lights. If the fuse is ok and the bulbs aer ok, this is your problem. Thank you very much for choosing FixYa.
