Question about 1997 Jeep Wrangler
My boyfriend has a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0
He just got a brand new engine and the oil pan is leaking. he has put sealent on it numerous times and bought the oil pan gasket brand new about 4 times now, but it still wont stop! it only does it when the car is on for about 5 minutes than it starts dripping. Anyone know of anything? we dont want to take it to a mechanic beccause it will cost a fortune! Thanks in advance
Is it leaking at the same spot everytime? using a quality gasket? might have a matchup issue with oil pan and new engine. i would recommend very little sealer and use a grey sealer not the blue it wont hold up chtysler has there own sealent should only need a little in the corners.
