Question about 2000 Audi A8
Car running well but engine over heating after 10 miles
When heater is on full engine returns to normal temp
no obvious oil leak
fan does not seem to come on
cooling fluid ok
Engine check system reads ok
Will do thankyou
this is a fantastic car i have done 35k miles in 3 years with no probs

I would have the cooling fan checked, and have the thermostat changed. An overheated thermostat (overheating caused by something else) will cause problems in the future.
