Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a Hemi alot of people are telling me a Dodge ram with the hemi cant have a plow because its built for speed not power. Or that it will void the warranty. Is there any truth to either of these??
I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, I have turned the torsion bars up and stuck 35" tires on it. Is there anything I can do to the front end to help with the weight of a snow plow if i put one on?
We've put snow plows on the front ends of Rams before, the only problem is the front end really drops when when the plow is lifted (and this is with poly blades). You can put a leveling kit in to help with this and make sure your rear end is weighed down, a lot of guys go with an in-bed salter at the same time

If you're worried about the warranty consult your dealer. As far as weight goes, you might want to look into the fiberglass snowplows. That also depends on the type of plowing you're going to be doing. Fiberglass doesn't cut it for commercial plowing, but it is good for doing small driveways.
