SOURCE: Good afternoon, I need to
You will have to remove the alternator to get to it I'm pretty sure. There should be 3 bolts holding the alternator in place. There is 1 you can see up top, and 2 under the alternator, all 15MM
But once those are broke lose and off, just swing the alternator out of the way(with belt off of course) and use a 1 1/16" Socket for the Oil Pressure Sending Unit.
After that, it is easy, it all goes on like it came off

The warrenty should cover this problem. The oil pressure is a very important part of the powertrain.
As for the engine cutoff, this may be caused by the
powertrain control module shutting down the engine
due to little or no oil pressure to prevent serious
damage. This could be as simple as a bad oil pressure sending unit. But it could also be the oil
pump. In any case I would talk to the crysler dealer
to avoid voiding the warrenty. Hope this helps.

Check wiring to the sensor on the windshield. Also see if sensor is coming loose from the glass. The repair for this is new windshield with sensor.
