Question about 2002 Ford Mustang
When i go to take my car from park either into reverse or drive it get stuck? last time this happened apparently around the same time my brake lights went out, when i changed a fuse for that for the past two years everythings been fine? what could be the problem
To shift from "P" to "R", there is a swicth that allows the shift button on the shift lever to be depressed. For this switch to work, the ingnition switch must be "ON" and the brake pedal depressed. If all yor brake lights went out (or if your brake switch on the pedal fails to work), then the shift switch wont work and you can not shift out of "P".
