Admittedly it points to the switch... when you turn on the turn signal... both front and back do not work ?

Need a diagram for how to find the flasher in a 1999 dodge stratus..it's not in the fuse boxes

Simple method without mystery:
  1. Turn blinker flashers on;
  2. Listen for clicking;
  3. Find source of clicking. It is the flasher. :)
NOTE: Emergency flashers and blinkers usually use a separate flasher unit, but one is close to the other. If your blinkers do not work but your emergency flashers do, find the emergency flasher unit by finding the source of clicking, then locate the blinker flasher nearby. They will ALWAYS be underneath the dashboard on the driver side.

I have a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro. My front blinkers are not working. I can do turn signal by hand and rear blinkers work. Not the front. I got a flasher because my friend said that's the problem. I...

It's not the flasher. You have either lost ground to the front or just could be both bulbs are bad. Since the rear flashes, the flasher is good.

Cant resolve a blinker issue, Tried the easy stuff.

The signal wire going to the right front has a splice for the dash indicator, a wire branching off from the turn wire and going to the dash. It sounds like that right signal wire is broken or lost a connection before it splices off to the dash, so the problem sounds like it is under the dash, either coming out of the turn signal switch to the flasher or from the flasher to that splice. You may need a multi-meter to check voltages on that wire at various places under the dash. Ascertain which color wire you need to concentrate on. Check for voltage on it with key on and right blinker on-voltmeter will spike to battery voltage, then fall to zero as the flasher breaks voltage continuously, if checked after the flasher. If checked when leaving the turn switch, it should be a continuous signal on that wire. Think you better find a wiring diagram to find the right wire to check. Good luck.

Blinkers just stopped working changed fuses didnt work

Do the hazards work? Is it all the blinkers? If so try the flasher fuse otherwise make sure the hazard switch isn't half pressed down. Some cars you can hit the hazard switch just a little so hazards won't come on but neither will the blinkers. If it's just 1 blinker change the bulb

it would seem then that it is indeed the switch that needs replacement

My right blinkers wont work

well rule out the flasher unit first by replacing it... cheaper to replace that and rule it out then replacing the switch and finding out it was the flasher..
