Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Brakes lock up slow speeds

I have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Laredo and have issues with the brakes locking up at slow speeds. We have replaced the master cylinder, the proportioning value, all relays and fuses, had the system flushed twice and have had the brakes inspected. Everybody seems to be at a loss for a solution. Please Help.

Have him tell the truth about the story you posted. More damage was done for too many parts and mechanical faults are noted here by you. If he ran into a curb he had to be speeding at least 25 MPH and slamming the shifter into park to break the parking lock which is a heat treated arm that locks into the transmission clutch drum upon placing it in park.

Front brakes locking up

Sounds like the front brake hoses went bad on you. Fluid goes into the calipers and builds up pressure, and applies the brakes, because the fluid can't come back out of the calipers. Usually when hoses go, they tear on the inside, creating a one way valve type of flap. I hope that this helped. Best wishes to ya.
