i would just go through every fuse pull it out see if its blown - the manual says if you blow a fuse let a technitian replace but they want you to go pay themn to do it so - this calls for a job of do it yourself- look on the inside of the fuse box cover it sometimes will list what each fuse is - wish i could help more

If just the shifter light is out then it is not the fuse, the top plate of the shifter just pulls off, on some models there are 2 screws, the bulb is below that top plate.

lot of work. There is a bolt in the glove box that you will have to remove. first open your glove box and squeeze the two sides to drop the box out. then on the left towards the radio there is a gold bold. I believe 10mm socket would fit. unbolt that and that should free up the front to allow you to get the rest out. That little light is a pain to get to. alot of bolts and screws for one light.
