Light flashing in bottom left of dashboard on a ford focus automatic, orange light, and the car is shuddering when going slow, any ideas?

Any time you get a light on the dash,of any vehicle ,you need to check your owners manual.
Next ,you need a code reader or better yet,a scan tool hooked to the vehicles diagnostic connector, under the dash to check for codes. I am really suprised at the hundreds,if not thousands of people that don't know that.
The vehicle symptoms will be found, after your have a code(if any) and follow some type of testing proceedure.

An orange flashing light keeps flashing , when plugs get wet .

HI, this flashing check engine light is signaling a serious miss in one or, more of the cylinders in your engine.

You will need to check the wires and, spark plugs once more for faults. Also, check the ICM and, coils. make sure the coils are firing in the correct order.

A more serious and, uncommon issue will be a faulty PCM if the ICM is not used in this particular model.

**Have all sensors checked as well and, have a diagnostic scan ran on the CPU asap.

Orange light

This sounds like your "check engine" light. Best bet is to take it to your mechanic where they should have the right diagnostic tools to find where the problem is. - Neil

Engine light is on

to get any diagnostic you need to beg borrow steal or buy a reader and get the actual error code. could be any of several fuel/air/o2 sensors. the light just tells you that the computer cant read something, not what the 'something' is
