Take car to have analyzed. When error code is discovered, replace part as needed.

2003 gmc envoy instrument cluster panel wiring diagram

Click on the link, hope it works?
Yes, it is a partial diagram. Check voltage and ground, see the fuses, not only check the fuses, check the fuse circuit for voltage. Use a test light. Some fuse circuits are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Also, check the ground, black wire with white tracer in diagram, should be chassis ground, check the way you would any chassis ground.
Any applicable trouble codes? As far as your gages, the pcm sends serial data to instrument cluster telling ipc what to do with gages. I can't rule out instrument cluster itself, at the moment.

I just changed the oil pressure switch and the thermostat on my GMC Envoy 04,,,,everything works fine except when i switch the heater to defrost dash/dash vent,,,,when i do that my oil pressure drops...

Some cars incorporate a module in the electronics to control certain operations so get your self a schematic diagram of the electrics and if you find a common point then that will be where the fault is.

Check gages warning light comes on (yellow light stays on) coolant temperature gage does not move

Looks like 2 different problems. Have your truck scanned for free at Autozone and see what codes pull up. The guage is probably a bad stepper motor on the back of the cluster.

License plate light out on my `04 gmc envoy, how do i replace it?

Has 2 screws for the cover, take them out and replace the bulb/s. Might check the seal that seals the entire license plate panel, it's black. Common problem is that this seal comes folded under from the factory and allows water into the bulb area.

Gas gauge not woking properly gas tank only accepts a little gas

a fuel sending unit seems to be the most popular solution. the part is about $40. I think the labor is what's going to kill you.
