SOURCE: Where's the fuse for the cig lighter for an 04

There two fuse panels one under the hood near the battery I think and the other is on the driver side as you open the door on the side of the dash.

After a phone charger disassembled in the lighter socket some parts of the lighter must have shorted in the socket. I checked the fuse under the dash but it doesn't look to be blown. The lighter,

The short out could have easily blown the stereo and clock display. You will have to replace all three to get them working. The radio could have an inline fuse on it which blew but you will have to pull it out to check.

The cigarette lighter on my 1995 Toyota Corolla does not work. The radio works fine. The problem started after I used an air compressor to inflate my tires. The air compressor attaches to the cigar

On the back side of the lighter there is a fusable link between the incoming power wire and the metal tab that connects power to the lighter. This is a very small wire, bent 90 degrees, between two tabs that are mounted on the same small screw. It looks like the incoming power tab and the power to the lighter would be connected, but they are insulated from each other on the screw. If the fusable link is blown, you will have power at the power connector on the back of the lighter, but no power to the center terminal inside the lighter.

Which fuse controls the cigarette lighter and radio, mine are not working

In the integrated power module, find 20A fuse 5. Replacing it should get both the cigar lighter and radio operating again

Horn cigarette lighter use same fuse replaced fuse but neither work

Did you also check the BATT1 fuse in the engine compartment fuse relay center? You should have 12 volts through the BATT 1 fuse, the red wire connected to one end of the CIG FUSE, and the orange wire from the other end of that fuse to the cigarette lighter. If you lose 12 volts along that path, check for broken or burned wires.

I'm trying to find the fuse for my horn and car lighter looked in the fuse box but dont have it in there maybe another name or something

Looks like the horn is on a 15amp circuit - the fuse is marked HORN and its probably in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
The lighter may be on an accessory fuse.
If you have your owners manual look in the back of it.

Why did my radio and my cig. lighter stopped working?

I wish I had a dollar for every time I have heard "All fuses are OK" or "I already checked the fuse" or "I know it's not the fuse"....I'd be a rich man!

When cigarette lighters quit working, 99% of the time the fuse is blown because someting got plugged into it like a defective phone charger. The other 1% of the time, it is because the lighter element is burned out or somebody essed with the wires to the cigarette lighter trying to install some kind of aftermarket equipment.

Humor me and check Fuse #9 (20 Amp) in the passenger side fuse and relay box.

My lighter plug in doesn't work and I know how to fix it

it may be just a blown fuse, check the fuses in the fuse box, if the cigarette lighter does'nt get hot it could be the unit is burnt out & needs to be replaced......hope this helps......cheers.
