Question about 1995 Lincoln Town Car
The electric window button on the passenger side has fallen into the panel. I can get it out but it won't stay up. What is the best way to fix this without taking it to a mechanic?
Can you get it out far enough to put a "C" shaped piece of plastic under it so it won't fall back into the hole? Or wrap some tape around it, or some string?

Unplugging the Connector will cause the Check Suspension light to come on as its listed as a fault as it cant run.
But with it unplugged the compressor shouldnt been able to start. If you want to kill the compressor pull its relay from the engine bay. located above the battery.
But i'd suggest correcting the fault as if those bags do pop your going to end up being grounded. as the rear will drop a fair bit!

To remove the window switch console from the drivers side door, gently pry up the console, start at the front of the panel, because this is where the friction fastener is. After this is pryed up, slide the unit forward and remove. Then you can remove the switch package. This package can be disassembled and you can clean the contacts to restore the switch back to operation,.

Testimonial: "Thank you. Once I know that the switch plate is gently pried up tp remove, the rest was easy."
Do you have the new mirror? Did you get the whole thing or just the glass? You can pop the glass (mirror) out of the holder with a flat bar and some slight pressure, don't break it, It comes out, or you can take the whole thing off and replace the mirror, motor and everything. Behind the mirror, inside the car, is a black plastic triangle, it pops off exposing 3 or 4 bolts, remove the bolts, hang on to the mirror, it is heavy, disconnect the wires going to the motor, replace, should be all set, Hope this helps.
