Anti theft system needs to be reset
Try to reset by removing the bttery negative with the key on..then shut the key off and reconnect the batery negative..turn the key to the run position and let reset the computer.. see if that works..

This has to do with the Auto's Computer system and should ONLY be done by a Factory Rep who knows what he/she are doing. not a home mechanic chore!!

Try disconnecting your battery cables then wait about 10 minutes. The computer should reset itself. Reconnect the wires to the battery. It is normal for the theft light to blink about every 5 seconds when the ignition key is out or in the off position. This means the system is armed and working properly. Hope this helps. God bless!
