How do you clean the back window??

Ok...this may sound stupid but I canNOT see anything out of the back window of my Miata. My car has the soft plexiglass type window. Not the glass version with defrost. I've asked numerous people about this but no one seems to know how to clean it so that you can see through it.

Any suggestions would be awesome!

There is a plastic cleaner made especially for the plastic rear windows of convertibles - most convertible top shops sell this stuff, and althought it takes alot of elbow grease, it works fairly well - on some f the more opaque windows, but the super yellow and cracked windows are pretty much gone- On the clearer and polishable ones, it only seems to stay clear for a short period of time ( 6-8 months). The best thing I can recommend for the $$$ is to go to a convertible top shop and see what they would charge to install a new rear window - I think you'll find it is a good deal; especially if the top shop you use is a larger company. - It is hard to find a cleaner that will make you happy for the long term...The entire tops are sometimes fairly expensive, and the new rear window is often the best option. Some of the newer shops will cut you a good deal in order to drum up business - and their owners are experienced workers in the industry and do good work cheap - just to get the business started.

This is VERY Common on these Conv. Cars. There is no way to Clean it. It is Sun Fade and it will need to be Replaced if you want to see out of it.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!
