sound like possibilystop light swith located on end of brake pedal lever at top try unplugging and use jumper wire to diag otherwords if jumper wire makes lights come on you know it is the stop light switch kinda common..good luck please rate
Well try checking the stop light switch. It is located under the dash. Just follow the brake peddel arm up and you should see it.It has two wires and if you pull out the connecter and jumper the terminals in the connecter .The brake lights should come on,if they don't then try replacing your missing fuse.15 amp will do.
That's for the abs system only, not the brake lights. All brake lights are not working? Check the brake light switch (aka stop light switch), which is attached to the upper brake pedal, and has a wire attached to it. If it's shot, the brake lights won't work. If this is not the problem, let me know so I can help further.
I am having the same problem on an 04 2500hd there isa 15 amp stop light fuse inside the cab on the side of the instrument panel and a 25 amp stop light fuse under hood. you could also have a break switch issue the switch is located up on the break pedal linkage you should have power on the white wire when you push the pedal in (check with a test light) in my case I have a broken wire along the frame rail in the harness it is a light blue wire,
Look at the wiring harness that runs along the hinge on the trunk lid, driver side. Camrys with lights on the trunk lid are know to break one of these wires.
