Heater not heating very good

If the coolant level is full and the water pump is circulating the coolant through the system adequately then the most like cause is the heater core has become clogged. The heater core can be flushed or replaced to fix the issue.

My 1996 volvo 960 is over heating after i replaced the thermostat. What else could be causing this

check which way you put the thermostat in. The body of the thermostat has to face the water (in head or block) for the heated water to make it work. In the wrong way and it blocks off the water flow and the care will over heat.

No heat already changed the thermostat

Check vacuum hoses. There's one between engine and firewall at the passanger side that operates ur heater. This little creature dries up due heat expossure and cracks causing a vacuum leak that will trigger ur check engine light as well..

Have a 1996 saturn sl1 cant get any heat inside...have replaced thermostat already and have driven another couple thousnd kilometers, no change inside, still no heat

the thermostat is never the culprit, if it is bad the engine will tell you, not the heater. the heater core needs to be replaced. get a book or CD to show you how. good luck.

Overheating, low fuel efficiency, fuel smell in cabin

Sounds like coolant ports in the engine block is gunked up. Did you maybe notice the coolant ports when you changed the head gaskets? And, or, change the radiator cap,if you haven't already done so, I've seen them heat up over that too.

My 96 aurora keeps overheating and I already changed a leak I had in my heater hose. I believe the leak is coming from the left passenger side probably front or mid front.

It could be a faulty thermostate or a bad water pump. Water pump is on the passneger side where the fan belts are. Good luck
