why can't you remove the glove box? You can get at the door from under the dash but it's a ***** to do. try lubing the vent cables unless it uses the vacuum motor, if it uses the vac. motor it will be hard to get to without the glove box being out.

The lock will have to be picked. If you do get it picket, you will have to replace the lock or have a locksmith make you a new original. Expect to pay about $100.00 or more for this service.
There is that possibility that your local Chevy dealer can duplicate your key based on your VIN ... be worth a call to find out. You will have to prove ownership to get the key if they are able to make it.
