Re: fog light replacement
You can probably lean under the bumper and locate the back side of the fog lamps - there are probable two pieces of "wire" that are "hooked" behind the frame for the lamps - these wires are to be pushed towards the lamps and the wire holders will fall way from the lamp case. The light will come out and then be unplugged - be sure to use a clean cloth to install the new ones and not to touch them with your hand as the oil will cause them to burn out prematurely. The install is the reverse of the removal...Not all are done this way, some are screwed in from the fron or back, and the entire asssembly come out and then comes apart.., but just use a little common sense and remember not to force anything - you should be able to get them out...good luck...

If you cannot reach the fog light assembly from the top you may need to

you replace the fog lamps by going under front bumper fascia.remove the pushpins and take down the splash shield to access the back of the fog lamps.then you remove two bolts retaining the fog lamp to the back of front bumper.besure to wear clean gloves.because fog lamps is halogen bulbs.if you touch with bare hands the oils from hands will make the bulbs over heat and blow out.
Touring Model Use a wrench to remove the mounting bolt from the underbody through the hole in the splash shield. Remove the fog light assembly from the bumper by pulling its inner edge first, then the whole assembly out of the bumper. Remove the electrical connector from the bulb by pushing on the tab and pulling the connector down. Remove the bulb from the fog light assembly by turning it one quarter turn counterclockwise. Push the electrical connector onto the new bulb. Turn on the fog lights to test the new bulb. Reinstall the fog light assembly into the bumper. Tighten the mounting bolt. Insert the new bulb into the assembly and turn it one-quarter turn clockwise to lock it in place. Hope this helps you.

This bulb can be replaced without removing the washer fluid reservoir. There are 3 screws that go through the bottom edge of the bumper cover into the right inner fender guard. Remove these screws and pull the inner fender down to gain access to the back side of the fog lamp and remove the bulb.

hi have not had pleasure of this on santa fe yet? but will try to help dependant of which side o/s or n/s ? i would first remove the screws holding the front of the under engine plastic cover/shield and drop down sufficient to gain view/access? to the rear of fog lamp then if a cover is on? try turning anti clock to remove? or if rubber cover pull off? then the bulb and clip should be visible? unplug the wire from bulb then the spring clip holding bulb in place normally just sring the 2x top ends together and swing down/clear to remove bulb? refit new bulb correctly! pay attention to position old bulb positioned? then clip securely and re connect wire at this stage it would be best to ensure bulb works ?? before you re assemble all else? wish you luck and hope this helps with your problem ?
I just replaced the fog light bulb on my 2008 Azera. I went under the car and removed two screws from the protective shield. I pulled down the shield and reached up and turned the fog light socket and pulled it out of the housing, remembering which side the wires were on and removed the old bulb (Don't touch the new bulb with your hand) and replaced it with the new bulb. The job took less then 15 minutes
