My passenger side electric rear window will not go up or down, but all my other windows work just fine.

My passenger side electric rear window will not go up or down. When I push the button, there is no sound at all. It just stopped working.

The window will not open whether I use the switch at the driver's door or at the switch at the door where the window doesn't work. And it makes no sound at all. I am hoping that it is a loose wire. The dealer just fixed the front drivers side window just a month or two ago, and I am hoping that perhaps they didn't get all the connections right. Thanks, Jerome.

Window motor may be broken, if so relace window motor. To check window motor, run positive and negative leads to the motor. Otherwise switch may be broken, if so replace switch.

SOURCE: Power Window on passenger side not working

It either needs a new window motor or switch. To tell which, you can open the door, have the ignition in the on positon or running, hold up or down on the window switch (whichever way it needs to go), and slam the door pretty hard while holding the switch. If the window works, it needs a motor/regulator assembly. If not, look at wiring or switch. If you can hear the motor running, and nothing happens, you need a motor/regulator assembly.

SOURCE: 2005 Chrysler T&C passenger side window went

If the window had not been slow in it's action before it stopped working I'm guessing you only have a connection problem. I would remove the door panel and using a multimeter check the hot wire to see if power is reaching the switch. If it is check the connection on the motor. If power is reaching the motor through the switch you have a faulty motor. If at any point of testing there is no power backtrack the power wire to find where the break is. (it's usually in the door jam)

The odds of both switches going bad at the same time is high, remove the door panel and tap on the window motor with a hammer, while trying the switches. I may have jammed up. Ground a test light and check the motor connection, while trying the switch, power will show on either side depending on if it turning up or down

if you hot wired it straight to the motor and it works up and down fine chances are you have a broken or shorted wire between the button switch and the motor itself possibly between where the door opens and shuts at the hinge

yes take each problem one at a time, the passenger window is probably the switch on the passenger door, drivers side rear window sounds like motor or connection problem, your headlight is probably a bad ground for that light power locks a fuse or relay, radio, ck antenna leads

well you can try "jumping" the correct wire to see if window got up or down... this will tell u if switch is bad... but I would just go but a new master switch... try that before you cause more damage..

If you have a multimeter you can go to the underside of the master panel in the drivers door and independently check the switches for voltage or with no power to the switch assembly check for continuity. Good place to start. If you get continuity to through the switch then you need to check power to the window actuators in the doors.
