Cooling fan relay location for a 1992 corvet

the air con fan comes on with the air con switch. the engine cooling fan comes on when the engine temp. censer reaches operation temp. most times the air through the radiator when driving is enough to keep the censer cool and the fan not working if you stop at lights for any length of time it will come on.

Tried using display button on steering wheel and airconditioner will not cool anymore

Seems like the air con settings have changed and the air con is only running on fan only?? See if there is any info in the Owners book as to resetting the controls.

Fan will not turn off

which fan? Interior fan, or radiator cooling fan? Is it the radiator cooling fan, or the fan controlled by the air-conditioning?

Run the vehicle, turn on and off the air-conditioning to identify which of the fans in the engine bay is the one triggered by the air-con and which is the primary cooling fan.
If the primary cooling fan is permanently engaged, then first try replacing it's relay as it may have fused closed.

Does the vw polo 1.6 Comfortline Air-conditioner need a fuse

Not sure whether the fan comes on automatically with air con or not... but if you manually turn the fan on, the vented air should be cold. If not, your air-con system sounds like it needs re-charging. This is not expensive and most decent service centres have the facility. Hope that helps.

Hi, The air con in my 2003 Audi A6 1.9 tdi 130 is blowing warm air the air con rad is fully gassed and all fuses are ok . Thanks in advance for any advice on how to fix

The only other thing then would be if the compressor is turning, engaging, and the cooling fan working properly. You should either be able to see the compressor clutch engage, as the switch is energized, or at least hear it click loudly when the switch is energized. If it is not, then there are sensors for the low pressure/high pressure line to tell the compressor when to function, that also have to be checked.

As the engine runs with the compressor turning, one line should be hot/warm, the othe,r (larger diameter hose) should be cool/cold, if the system is working properly.

If the compressor is turning when you have the A/C turned on, then see if the cooling fan is running as well. It must run to remove the heat and cause the process to function properly.

Good luck!

I have a 2008.5 Mazda 3 GS Sport and when you turn the air flow selector to windows or windows/floor, the air condition will turn on automatically. (Can't turn it off.)
