Usually yes.. its marked with a number amp rating of around 20-30 depending on make and model..its located in the main fuse panel usually in the lower dash by the steering wheel area..good luck

OK, its impressive that you unplugged many things tracing a fuse.
The1st thing you SHOULD have done is look up the fuse chart for fuse 41. Its in your owners manual.

Fuse 41 feeds the Oxygen sensor heaters.
You may wanna start by ohms or current checking the heaters, or pulling fault codes and seeing if any particular heater is setting a SHORTED code. Unplugging the heater(O2 sensor) may show you that it stops the fuse blowing and the problem is resistance low in that sensor. If it doesnt fix it, likely you have wiring rubbed through somewhere on the heater circuit. This can be checked by using a diagram and component locations to trace the routing of the heater power line back to the fuse, and finding where it has rubbed through and may be touching ground.

Problems with electrical are often best tackled with information on the system. Print out your diagrams before you start unplugging stuff or you are just adding extra work

aka, the TIPM, box. open lid, (under hood) and see it.?

the operator guide tell you where all fuses are. lost that?

no year, no joy sorry,
cars vary by year, model, engine, country and many other options.

if really curious , log in to and answer all those questions
and its all there. even the guage fuse.
most cars its marked, DASH?
or CLuster
i dont know Isuzu's ways.

if you post the year, and engines size, be glad to look it up.

Wheres the radiator and fuse box?

what radiator, there are many.
cab heater, engine RAD, tranny, A/C what?
the glove box, open it and remove the oper. guide, lost that , get one for best safety.
fuse box, there are 2, one (LHD car) at left ankle
and one in engine bay. LHD = left hand drive,
even causal looking finds both, do look.

best, violet, is to post symptoms... or are you just curious?

Have you checked ignition fuses be sure to check all most newer vehicles have more than one fuse panel if you have owners manual you will find locations and what the particular well some of what each particular fuse or relay operates or controls good luck

Hi James, Check all the fuses and in particular the connection cables to the battery. The circuits you have mentioned are auxiliary to the starter and operate through relays. One of those is a main relay and that is where I would check. Regards John

P0147 - 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 3)

O2 (Oxygen) sensors contain a heating element that allows the sensor to reach operating temperature quickly. This lowers emissions since it allows the engine to reach closed loop faster and also allows the engine to stay in closed loop at idle. The heater circuit is supplied a 12 V battery feed from the PCM or ignition circuit (depending on model) and a ground. The PCM (powertrain control module) monitors how long it takes for the sensors to become active after engine start-up. If it takes too long for the o2 sensors to reach operating temperature, this P0147 can set.

Symptoms: For this particular o2 sensor, there may be no noticeable symptoms other than:
* MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) illumination
* Poor/ rough idle

Causes: Potential causes of an P0147 code include:
* Bad o2 sensor heater circuit
* Bad o2 sensor
* Wiring harness problems

Possible Solutions: Unplug the Bank 1, 3 sensor. With KOEO (key on engine off) use a voltmeter to check for battery voltage present at the o2 sensor connector (PCM side). (You can also do this with a test light. Connect to ground and touch lead to heater circuit supply. Light should illuminate with KOEO) You should have battery voltage present.

a. If voltage is present, check the ground side of the heater element also making sure a good ground is present. If it is, check for any faulty connections & then replace the o2 sensor. If you don't have a good ground, then there is an open in the ground circuit somewhere that will need to be repaired. Look for wiring harness contact with exhaust components or broken/missing connectors, etc.

b. If battery voltage isn't present with KOEO, check for a blown fuse supplying the heater elements. You may need to get a wiring diagram for this. If the fuse is blown, you'll need to check for a short to ground on the battery supply circuit before replacing the fuse. If you find none, and replacing the fuse re-establishes battery voltage at the o2 sensor connector, then the o2 sensor may have shorted internally, blowing the fuse. Replace it & recheck. (NOTE: it's possible for an o2 sensor's heater circuit to be open/shorted and the o2 sensor to still function).

c. If you have no battery voltage present with KOEO and there are no blown fuses supplying the heater circuit, then check for an open on the supply circuit. You can do this by ohming the circuit with the o2 sensor unplugged and the PCM unplugged. Repair and recheck.

I have a vw 93 jetta how can I keep the horn from going off

I wouldn't recommend removing the fuse, Im not sure on that particular year but usually a fuse has multiple functions not just 1 function. I would find the horn location and just un plug it. But Im curious as to why the horn is going off. Is it the alarm? If it is, I would take the car to autozone and have them test the amp output on the alternator and maybe a load test on the battery....

My heater dosn't like to heat up i let it warm up in the mornings and i might be lucky to get a slightly warm/cool feel i have changed the thermostat and had to change the water pump and i have just...

Have you tried or looked into the heater core? is there any coolant within the cabin of the vehicle? have you had your cooling system serviced? Did you check the glycol level just curious, because lack of heat would not really be a fuse issue unless no power or your blower motor was not even coming on,. Simple thing is there a fresh air option that might be selected and your truck is letting in cold air mostly instead of keeping that closed and heasting up. Try to see how much heat you get on recirculation, as if you are getting some heat and have changed the thermostat, and water pump and your coolant is good, look into heater core.That would not allow you to get heat so worth a shot to elimate simple variable then look into that. :)

1989 chev sub. heater fan will not operate,

yes under hood or dash if fuse is good check your elec. plug on heater fan housing may be burned up replace plug if still bad fan motor is no good
