Help with no power after 5 minutes 1994 ford ranger automatic 4.0 litre

Are you saying the maf sensor is new? Did you check the wire connector and wiring before you replaced it? When you unplugged it, the computer may use a default value? The red wire is battery voltage, check for voltage, key on. the black wire is ground, You can use a test lite connected to battery voltage, touch the black wire terminal, if the lite comes on, at least, the ground is good enough to turn on the lamp. The lite blue wire with red tracer is signal return, that is a ground that goes to computer. Use a computer safe test lite, maybe an led. Usually they don't recommend a 12 volt test lite for a ground that goes to computer. The tan wire with lite blue tracer is maf signal to computer. Key on engine off, less than .7 volts. koer--.2--1.5volts depending on the idle.
My database is probably not the best, any colleague that has better info is certainly welcome to post, have a good day.

Turn key nothing happens

What is year--make--model?
Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Use as test lite and follow battery B+, ground is important also. Pick any component that doesn't work and check voltage and ground. If circuit uses a fuse, check voltage on fuse circuit, with a test lite.

I have a 2006 F150 5.4 4x4 will not crank over, had battery checked it was ok any help would be appreciated

just behind the battery there is a round device that has battery (red) cable running to it this is the starter solinoid this takes your "key signal " and allows the starter to be connected to battery a 10 dollar car test light is needed to probe the prongs of this device to see whats wrong , connect clip of light to any good bare metal surface (that does not move) and probe this solinoid there are two large bolts and one small bolt , with someone holding key to start you should have a "Lite" on all three bolts . if you do starter is bad if you only have lite on two bolts you have bad solinoid if you only have one with a lite then theres a wire probelm in dash of car

I replaced my engine in a 1985 cad deville, there is 6 wires going to the starter, i know that the positive cable goes on the large post and the purple wire goes on the small post.then there is the tan wire...

If the wire is big enough to go on the big post, likely it sends power to something from the battery at that point. The smalls that are hot go to one small terminal on the battery and the other goes to the other terminal. The single likely goes live when you turn the key to start. Cannot confirm these without proper diagram but this is a start.

Key remote

Turn the Battery around. Or if that has been tried,
Lightly Bend the terminals that lay on top or under the battery. They shoud make contact with the battery on the top or bottom. And on the side.

Good battery not holding charge

there could be a draw in the electrical system. with key out of ignition and all doors closed. disconnect neg battery cable and put test lite in between cable and battery terminal, if it lites up strong, then there is a draw down. to trace the draw, leaving test lite hooked up, remove interior lite fuse. then remove one fuse at a time(returning previous fuse to proper place) until test lite goes out. that is the circuit that is drawing down. you pull the interior lite fuse first cause door will most likely be open to ck rest of fuses. hope this helps
