Question about Ford Cars & Trucks
Can anyone tell me how I access the back of the heated seat switch on a Ford Mondeo 2009? One side of the switch works, the other side sometimes works after a sharp blow on the side of it! Would like to see if it is just a loose connection on the back of the switch, but can't see how to get to it.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Auto door locking on Ford Mondeo
It sounds like it has been deactivated so we are going to reactivate the auto lock.
The numbers I will be saying will have to do with getting this to work so:
you will need to put the key in to the ignition switch.
1= is back to listen to the radio
2= is to get key out
3= is just before you start
4= is for starting your car
When we do this 1 and 4 will not be used
Do this and we will hope that it works like it should:
1: Turn the ignition with you key up to on( don't start)
2: Press the power door lock control 3 times
3: now turn the key back once (to off position)
4: Press the power door unlock control 3 times
5: ok turn the ignition back up 1 time. (The horn should chirp)
6: Then press the unlock control, then press the lock control, again (horn will chirp 1's) If auto lock
7: Turn the ignition back 1's, Then the horn should chirp once to confirm the procedure was completed.

Very easy, 2 or 3 minutes.
Remove radiator grille. 2 plastic fittings on top, quarter turn and lift out grille.
Remove complete headlight. Simply lift out 2 L shape retaining pins. Disconnect lead. Ease out complete headlamp unit.
Remove back of headlamp unit to access bulbs. Disconnect lead from bulb while bulb still held by clip. Then release clip to remove bulb.
Reverse process to fit.

Your radio code number should read: 5796.
I trust this will do the job.
I have no other code for your model.
Please let me know if this works.

Remove the radio from the dashboard and quote the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing ....normally begins with M * * * * * *

Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.
Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault
