SOURCE: car stalls while moving, then after 2-5 minutes starts back up

disconnect the fuel filter at both ends to see if the filter is clogged. If you are not getting any fuel on either end then you should get a new fuel pump.

SOURCE: Transmission Knock

this is most likely a transmission filter being dirty and it needs to be changed regularly as does the oil in your van. this is inside the transmission and needs to be serviced to complete this job i do not recommend you trying this by your self as you could damage your transmission.

Running rough& stalling

Brenda, this could be a lot of different things to cause hard start and stalling. Faulty crank sensor, idle air control valve, EGR, vacuum leak, injectors, fuel pump, ignition circuit, distributor faulty, plugs, wires, plugged exhaust, etc. Find a good technician check the codes and have them diagnose and give an estimate on repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Were is the map sencer on 2001 mercury villager and would this be the issue..it runs when u start it up and after it gets warm it wants to stall when u put it in gear ..or when u get it running it spi

possibly but it also could be mass air flow sensor,a fuel pressure problem ,faulty plug wires or even just a cracked dist.cap.
I would stop by a parts store ,Auto Zone or Advance will read the trouble codes for free. There are too many things that could be at fault. The code will give you a clue.If there are no codes(doubtful) suspect a fuel delivery problem.

1998 Mercury Villiager stalls out when put into gear also at red lights unless it has been running for over 15 minutes?

I suspect your fast idle control is not working. Could be solenoid. Mounted on throttle body.

clean the throttle body passages and clean the MAF sensor with carb cleaner. disconnect battery for 2 hours to clear memory in computer, drive for 10 miles to relearn, may run rough for 10 miles.

2000 Mercury Villager ront end alignment

it i front wheel drive so you do not need 4 wheel alignment. There is no adjustment for the rear wheels. It should cost $50 to $60. Call a dealer, call a local shop, call Sears. Go to the best deal. Good luck.

Heat blows cold when car is idling

You have an air pocket in the cooling system. To bled it out you will have to park vehicle on an incline or jack up the front end untill the radiator cap is higher than the heater core. The remove radiator cap and run engine until warm then hold rpm to about 1200 rpm's and top off coolant level until you have no more bubbles.
