Question about 2001 Daewoo Leganza

Daewoo leganza coolant leak back of engine

Hi, everyone. I have a 2001 Daewoo Leganza that just started leaking coolant after I had my oil changed by my local Jiffy Lube. I rechecked my hoses and found that one of them was loose so of course I fixed that problem. I have also noticed that one of the three main bolts are missing. Coolant keeps pooling underneath the hoses on the driver's side (of course). If anyone could provide me with an owners manual somehow, then that would help greatly as well. I recently bought this car and the previous owner did not provide me with a book. Thanks, Jenn

Probably the water pump is the cause of the coolant loss and the rocker cover may need a new gasket.

My 2001 Daewoo Leganza is leaking coolant I am unsure of what this part is called, I'm thinking the coolant manifold maybe... and I am unsure where to purchase parts.

coolant manifold? No, no such thing. Is the leak coming from engine? Only manifolds there are the intake and exhaust manifolds. Your intake might have a small coolant line (smaller than a garden hose size) running to it. You just have to find the leak to know what to fix. As for where to purchase, any reputable parts store: Napa is my first choice, followed by discount retailers (O"reilley, etc.) Just be aware that discount places and their parts vary in quality. For major parts, buy from the dealership for OEM (original equipment manufacture). For minor parts and maintenance items, shop around for best prices.

2001 daewoo leganza water is entering to the oil could the throttle body gasket need replaced?

No has no way to internally get water into engine. Most likely head gasket, in some cars the intake gasket could leak coolant into the crankcase.

My 2001 daewoo leganza has a bad oil leak all over my engine , it smokes when i drive it for 20 minute periods at a time, it got a clicking sound in the engine and its leakin coolant from under the front...

What it sounds like is that you have either a cracked block, severely damaged head, or both. Does your vehicle run? If so, how well does it run? How many miles are on the vehicle? When was your last complete tune up? Did this leakage of oil and coolant with abnormal clinking sounds happen all of a sudden or over time? Did your vehicle overheat recently and if so did you have it running when you added coolant to the overheated engine?

My car is leaking coolant from the passenger side towards the back of the engine. I have a 2001 Daewoo Leganza. what could be the problem

Heater core lines to the inside of the car or a head gasket leak. Are you sure its coolant and not condensate from the A/C?
