Installing fuel pump

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You will need to remove the filler hose and various vacuum lines from the tank. Then remove the fuel lines from the fuel pump. The two fuel tank straps can then be removed after an appropriate jack has been placed under the fuel tank. Be ready of fuel to spill at any time. Keep extension cords, heater, and trouble lights clear of the are to avoid starting a fire! Lmk

A BMW that is hot after only two or three miles generally has air in the cooling system. Did you turn on the key and turn up the heater to open the heater valve, and then pour water unto the expansion tank until pure water came out of the bleed screw?

I believe I have a problem with a heater core in my car, but can only find the hose that runs from the fluid tank to the radiator. Where the hell is the other hose??

If you locate where the heater core comes through the firewall, you will be able to follow the hoses from there. One may go to the driver's side of the engine and the other the passenger side (not sure). But also look for the hose to connect to a solid pipe running in front of the serpentine belt at the base of the overflow tank.

The heater guard actuator is located under the Dash area. It sounds as if you covered most all of the issues regarding system procedure... It could be as simple as one of the vacuum lines have come undone or the cable has slipped .
