SOURCE: Battery Dead - How can I get the vehicle into neutral

i hate to say it, but you are gonna have to open the hood in the confined area and try to work with the area you have or call in whatever autoclub you use / the dealer and make it their problem.

actually you can buy a jump box that plugs into your cig. lighter and jump it that way. my jump box has the set up to do it that way. but check your owners manual to see if the car will accept that without damage.

SOURCE: battery is dead, cannot open the hood, auto power locks

I found a few solutions to your problem here:
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Porsche-795/f_4364103.htm

A lot of them have some merit, depending on whether you want to actually manually open the hood or use the inovative options posted there. Either way, i hope this helps and best of luck with your problem!

I have 2002 deville i changed the battery then theft security came on i cant started

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. The alarm is the reason you can't start the car. You will need the security code. Check your owner manual for this code. Each vehicle is different. You may be able to find it elsewhere, but choose someone that you trust. The dealership can do this for you. They will charge you but you will get the code.

Yes batterys can come apart inside. The plate breakdown and drop into bottom not allowing charge anymore. Low charge can do alot of weird things to you jag. Replace the battery and when you do have them check alternator charging ability while your there. Almost all auto store will do this for free.
