Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Galant
I still had power for the lights and radio, but car would not turn over to start.
Had to have AAA tow the car to a local shop (not Misubishi). They are telling me it is a bad crankshaft and they need to take apart the timing belt to get at it?
It is possible that the self starter is damaged cause i had that same problem once and after changing it worked just fine

Remove computer , take to TV repair shop and ask them to replace electrolityc capacitors .
There is 3 of them . All should be renewed .
For good quality stuff they should charge you max $ 15 .00 plus service fee.
Problem is , that this caps are design to work for max 5 years .
Hope that will make your car running .One of the cars I fixed was cutting off when driven ,
very dangerous - no brakes , no steering .Other will not start at all - sometimes .
Sometimes will start after 5 minutes or next morning .This is cheap and should be done anyway.
